Day 3 - Bye Bye Saigon

It was in a cab and off to the train station hurrah. 57000VNd got us there. We plonked down the in the training waiting area hoping we were in the right place at the right time. The only thing in English was a subtitled Corrs song on a wide screen TV that was playing for the entertainment of the crowd. I found the pot noodle ads with martial arts fighting scenes to prove that their goat flavoured noodle was the best, really entertaining..

The doors to the platform opened and the stampede was on to get on the train. Dawn and I stampeded slowly as we were weighed down with backpacks and aching legs. For a while it looked like the small 4 berth cabin all to ourselves but an Irish couple turned up who were on their way back home after three years in Australia (are they MAD?). They are getting off at Na Trang which means an early wake up call for them and an early wake up call for us subsequently.

But Dawn and I were so stuffed we didn't even bother asking their names.
